Lloydminster RCMP charged several drivers under provincial impaired driving legislation following incidents across the city overnight April 3.
At approximately 12:28 a.m., police conducted a stop in the area of 44 Street and 56 Avenue, leading to an impaired driving charge.
Around 1:54 a.m., another impaired driver was located in the 41 Street near the Casino. The vehicle was also towed.
A third incident occurred at approximately 2:08 a.m. in the LloydMall area, resulting in additional charges under the provincial impaired driving act.
All drivers involved were charged under provincial legislation and can not be identified.
RCMP remind drivers to plan ahead and avoid driving while impaired. Options include calling a taxi, arranging a sober ride, or using other safe transportation.
