Lloydminster RCMP arrested four individuals after locating a stolen vehicle parked in the Bank of Montreal parking lot on Nov. 21.
Police say the RCMP General Investigation Section contained the vehicle and safely arrested four people without further incident.
A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of a loaded firearm.
Charges laid:
According to RCMP, the following individuals have been charged:
- Kendall Cardinal, 26, Lloydminster
- Norman Chief, 34, Onion Lake
- Kyle Cardinal, 25, Onion Lake
- Dennis Chief, 21, Onion Lake
All four face multiple offences including unauthorized possession of firearm, possession of weapon for a dangerous purpose, careless use of firearm, unsafe storage of firearm, possession of firearm with a tampered serial number, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of weapon contrary to order.
Court dates:
All four were released after an appearance before a justice of the peace.
Kyle Cardinal and Norman Chief are scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Dec. 9.
Dennis Chief and Kendall Cardinal are scheduled to appear on Dec. 16.

RCMP say they remain focused on tracking stolen vehicles and addressing firearms-related crime to enhance safety in the community.
