Tips rolled in around 10 a.m. regarding a collision on 50 Ave being closed near city hall.
When we arrived, Lloydminster Fire Rescue, RCMP and community police were on scene at 45 street and 50 Ave. for a two vehicle collision.
A taxi had come to rest facing southbound in the northbound lanes with front-end damage. A black pick-up truck was stopped headed eastbound with front end damage.
Northbound traffic was being rerouted down an alley, while southbound traffic turned at the previous street.
The truck was able to be driven away from the scene. The taxi had to be towed.
The incident was cleared by 10:30 a.m. and the roadway was re-opened to traffic.
