A 70-year-old man from the Turtle Lake area has died following a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 3 east of Turtleford.
Turtleford RCMP received a report of the collision at approximately 12:05 p.m. on June 7, roughly 10 kilometres east of Turtleford. Officers responded along with local fire and EMS.
The man was the sole occupant of the vehicle. He was transported to hospital by EMS, where he was later declared deceased. His family has been notified.
Highway 3 was closed for more than six hours. Turtleford and Rural Municipality of Mervin fire crews were dispatched at 12:20 p.m. and returned to service after 6 p.m.
Turtleford RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
