Airbags were deployed and officials on scene stated minor injuries occurred after a collision left a taxi with a damaged front end and another vehicle off the road.
At approximately 10:15 a.m. we received a tip about a collision at the corner of 49 Ave. and 46 street in Lloydminster. Upon arrival, Lloydminster RCMP and Lloydminster Fire Rescue were on the scene of the collision.
A white van had come to rest blocking a portion of the north bound lane while a greyish SUV came to rest on the northeast sidewalk of the intersection.
There was significant damage to the taxi.
The incident remains under investigation.
