RCMP, STARS confirm details of Serious 303 collision

Saskatchewan RCMP media relations and STARS have confirmed some details around the serious collision which occurred last night on Highway 303.

“On December 28, 2025 at approximately 7:10 p.m., Turtleford RCMP received a report of two vehicle collision on Highway #303 about 10 kilometres west of Turtleford,” stated the RCMP.

“Investigation determined a car and a pick-up truck collided. Though STARS was initially engaged, after EMS assessment the driver of the car was transported to the hospital by land ambulance with injuries described as serious in nature. The driver and two passengers of the truck were assessed by EMS at the scene.”

A media relations manager for the air rescue service confirmed they were asked to attend for a scene call during the evening of Dec. 28.

“I can confirm that STARS did respond to a call in the Turtleford area last night, but we were not medically required for patient transport and thus returned to our base in Saskatoon,” said Blake Robert, Public Affairs Manager for Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service.

The incident remains under investigation.
