A teenaged male is facing multiple charges, including breaching court conditions, following a stabbing at a residence in Onion Lake.
Onion Lake RCMP responded to the incident at approximately 3:50 a.m. on April 7.
Officials close to the situation indicated the victim was stabbed. RCMP have not publicly confirmed the specific nature of the injuries.
Police did confirm an altercation occurred between two individuals inside the residence, resulting in the stabbing.
An adult male was taken to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Following continued investigation, RCMP have charged a teenaged male with:
- aggravated assault
- possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- fail to comply with undertaking
The accused is scheduled to appear in court via CCTV in Lloydminster on April 8, 2026.
RCMP continue to investigate the incident.
As the matter is before the courts, the charges have not been proven.
