It took nine days but the corner of College Ave. and 36 St. has seen its first collision of 2026.
At approximately 6:30, WPD Ambulance services was dispatched to reports of a two vehicle collision at the intersection.
Upon arrival, Lloydminster Fire and Rescue, RCMP were on the scene where a black sedan was blocking westbound traffic. The white jeep also involved in the collision came to rest south of the intersection into the snowbank.
EMS and firefighters were seen placing one individual in the back of the ambulance. There is no word on the extent of injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
