Over a dozen RCMP vehicles descended on a home in the 1600 block of 52B Ave. close Saturday evening.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. Officers from the Emergency Response Team, K9, plain clothes and uniformed divisions descended on the residence.
Numerous attempts to have the suspect come out of the home were made before a couple of tactical devices were used.
Shortly after, one male suspect was taken into custody.
Lloydminster RCMP S/Sgt. Bruce Maclean provided a brief update on the scene.
“We have arrested one individual in relation to an ongoing investigation,” said MacLean.
He also confirmed it was not in relation to the shots fired on June 26 at the Travellodge.
