Lloydminster RCMP have charged a 41-year-old man after a piece of stolen jewelry was allegedly offered for sale at a local store.
Police say officers responded around 5 p.m. on Feb. 26 to a report of a man attempting to sell jewelry believed to be stolen.
Officers attended and arrested the suspect, who they describe as a prolific offender known to police.
Dayton Albert Littlewolfe, 41, of no fixed address, is charged with trafficking property obtained by crime over $5,000.
Police say a search incidental to arrest uncovered two additional pieces of jewelry that had also been reported stolen in the same investigation.
The stolen “Hall of Fame” ring has now been recovered. However, multiple jewelry items remain outstanding.

RCMP have obtained photos of the missing pieces and are asking the public to keep watch for them online, in pawn shops or elsewhere.
Anyone with information about the missing jewelry is asked to contact Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8400.
Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
Littlewolfe was held for a judicial hearing and later released. He is scheduled to appear March 10 at the Alberta Court of Justice in Lloydminster.
