At approximately 7:00 a.m. this morning, Lloyd Fire Rescue, Lloydminster RCMP and EMS units were dispatched to reports of a collision at 44 St. and 52 Ave.
Upon arrival they located two vehicles, white pickup and orange car were involved. The roadway was closed the eastbound lanes of 44 street in order to safely work the scene.
RCMP officials confirmed one person was transported to Lloydminster Hospital with unknown injuries. Crews remained on scene for about an hour investigating and cleaning up the roadway.
The investigation remains ongoing.
