A man wanted in Monday’s murder which occurred in downtown Lloydminster was arrested about 40 minutes out of town according to Mounties.
Randy Lysohirka, 40, was arrested without incident at a rural residence near Maidstone, RCMP said in a release Thursday.
Investigators and tips from the public led Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit to determine he was at the residence, RCMP said.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Maidstone Detachment and the Lloydminster Saskatchewan Enforcement Response Team formed an arrest plan. They consulted Saskatchewan RCMP’s Critical Incident Response Team, Lloydminster RCMP and the Major Crimes Unit.
