STARS transported one person to hospital in Saskatoon after a collision involving a SUV and a semi on Highway 40 on Wednesday.
Cut Knife RCMP received a report of the collision around 12:40 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 40 and Range Road 3242, said Saskatchewan RCMP.
Police said the SUV driver was taken to hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Two passengers were also in the SUV. One was taken to hospital by STARS with serious injuries. The other was treated in hospital for minor injuries.

The semi driver did not report injuries to police, said RCMP.
STARS took one patient from the scene to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, said Blake Robert, government relations and public affairs manager with STARS.
Highway 40 was closed during the initial investigation. It reopened around 6:30 p.m.
RCMP have not released names, ages or a cause.
