Officials are asking the public to not approach 23-yr-old Tylon Kimbley. He is wanted in relation to a stabbing.

Meadow Lake RCMP are asking the public to report sightings of Kimbley after an adult male was seriously injured in a stabbing early Thursday morning.

Police say officers were called to a residence in Meadow Lake at approximately 3 a.m. on Dec. 26 following a report of an assault with a weapon.

EMS transported an adult male to hospital with injuries consistent with stab wounds. Police described the injuries as serious.

Investigators determined an altercation occurred between two adult males at the residence. A suspect was not located at the time.

As a result of the investigation, RCMP have issued a warrant for the arrest of Taylon Kimbley, 23, who is facing charges of aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and breach of probation.

Kimbley is described as six feet tall, weighing approximately 175 pounds, with brown eyes and short brown hair.

RCMP say he is known to travel in the Meadow Lake and Beauval areas, but his current whereabouts are unknown.

Meadow Lake RCMP are continuing to investigate the stabbing with assistance from Saskatchewan RCMP’s Saskatoon Provincial General Investigation Section.

Police say Kimbley should not be approached. Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts is asked to contact police.
