Lloydminster Fire Rescue are currently on scene of a townhouse fire on 57A off 41 St.

Crews encountered heavy flames and smoke coming from what witnesses confirm is a upstairs bedroom window during the afternoon of Nov. 13. Quick work by first arriving crews knocked the original blaze down.

The call came in around 2:15 p.m. Multiple firetrucks, EMS units, RCMP and community police officers remain on scene.

41 Street is closed at 57 Ave. and will remain so for the foreseeable future.

EMS were seen attending to a couple of individuals, however there is no word on injuries or cause.
