Welcome to The Border Pulse

When I was unexpectedly laid off, I had a choice, I could step away from bringing you stories you care about or build something better. In the weeks that followed, many people reached out and asked what happened. My answer was simple. Be patient. Something new was on the way. The Border Pulse was born from that decision. It was created to fill a gap in local coverage and to give our community a trusted, independent voice that is free of

Traffic headaches and highway worries Aalbers opened with light humour about the city’s busy west end before turning serious about safety at the 66 Avenue and Highway 16 intersection.
